Kristina Morss is an award-winning filmmaker from the Sacramento, CA area. Initially her passions laid within science related fields and NASA but, shortly switched to Animation and Visual Effects before settling on Video Editing and Sound Design. Growing up watching television and movies not fit for her age group, she found she enjoyed the thrill of watching them and the effects they had on audience members. Watching as many behind-the-scenes videos as she could, she found editing and foley interested her the most; especially in old radio shows. She hopes to continue to learn more and more with each new project.
Taking classes in VFX and Animation at The Art Institute-Sacramento then transferring to Sacramento State; she received her B.A. in Communications-Digital Media with honors in 2014. While in school, she helped make award-winning films and documentaries and moved on to the world of short-form in the Sacramento and Bay Areas. At present, she is a video editor and content creator at KUIU, LLC where her work can be seen on the company site and on the Sportsman's Channel. Some of her films have been screened in festivals around the world including: San Diego Comic Con, San Francisco Transgender Film Festival, Women's Only Entertainment Film Festival, Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, Mundo de Sueños Film Festival, Ukraine Equality Festival, and Sacramento International Film Festival.
